The VSAN Oil Level Indicator operates on the Visual Level Indication Principle or Magnetic Float Principle, depending on the model.
In a standard sight glass or transparent tube type indicator, the oil inside the equipment flows into the indicator through connected ports. Since the oil level inside the indicator remains the same as the oil level inside the equipment, operators can visually observe the oil level directly through the transparent viewing window or glass tube.
In magnetic float models, a permanent magnet embedded inside the float moves with the oil level. As the oil level changes, the float travels vertically, providing a visual indication or activating magnetic switches for alarm and control purposes.
Optional electronic sensors convert the measured oil level into a 4–20 mA analog output or digital communication signal, transmitting real-time level information to PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, or industrial controllers for continuous monitoring, alarm generation, and process automation.
