The VSAN Mini Flow Sensor is a compact, high-performance flow sensing device designed for accurate monitoring and control of liquid flow in industrial, commercial, and OEM applications. Its lightweight and space-saving design makes it an ideal solution for installations where conventional flow meters cannot be accommodated due to limited space.
Manufactured using high-quality PA66 engineering plastic reinforced with 30% glass fiber (PA66 + 30GF), the sensor offers excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. It is suitable for a wide range of clean liquids, including raw water, demineralized (DM) water, RO water, cooling water, process water, oils, and other compatible liquids. Optional Teflon coating is available for selected chemical applications.
The VSAN Mini Flow Sensor is available in various line sizes ranging from 6 mm to 32 mm BSP (Male), with flow capacities from 40 LPH to 10,000 LPH, making it suitable for both low-flow and medium-flow applications. Multiple output options, including RS485, 4–20 mA, Relay (NO/NC), Flow Switch, and Voltage Output, allow easy integration with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and OEM control systems.
Designed for reliable continuous operation, the sensor operates on a 4.5–24 VDC power supply, supports operating temperatures up to 120°C, and provides accuracy up to ±1% FSD. With its compact construction, low power consumption, and maintenance-free operation, the VSAN Mini Flow Sensor is an excellent solution for machine builders, water treatment systems, dosing equipment, and industrial automation applications.
The VSAN Mini Flow Sensor operates on the principle of detecting the movement of liquid through the sensor body.
As the liquid flows through the sensing chamber, the internal sensing element rotates or generates pulses proportional to the flow rate. These signals are processed by the built-in electronic circuit and converted into electrical outputs such as Pulse, Voltage, Relay, RS485, or 4–20 mA, depending on the selected model.
The processed signal is transmitted to a PLC, controller, or display unit, where it can be used for flow indication, flow monitoring, totalization, alarm generation, or automatic process control.
The sensor provides stable and repeatable performance with low power consumption, making it suitable for continuous flow monitoring and control in industrial, commercial, and OEM applications.
